Enrico Credendino

Born in Turin on January 21, 1963, he joined the Naval Academy in 1980. He commanded the patrol vessel SPICA, the frigate MAESTRALE, and the destroyer MIMBELLI. He held positions as Commander of Naval Academy Cadets and Deputy Head of the Navy Staff’s Third Department. Promoted Rear Admiral in 2011, he led international operations. Since November 6, 2021, he has been the Chief of Navy Staff.
