With marvellous frescoes and crenelated towers, Buonconsiglio is the most important castle in Trentino. Having served as the seat of the Prince-Bishops of Trent for centuries, today the castle is home to the provincial art and archaeology collections and the famous Torre Aquila, whose walls are frescoed with the renowned “Ciclo dei Mesi” (“Cycle of the Months”), an international Gothic masterpiece. A number of Festival dell’Economia events will take place in its Sala delle Marangonerie, which seats 110 people.

From 2009, he chaired Tassara and Nomisma. In 2018, he returned to banking as Chairman and ECB-appointed Commissioner of Banca Carige until its rescue in 2020.

Historic cinema in the heart of Trento, Cinema Vittoria, also known as "Supercinema", has been a point of reference for all cinephile enthusiasts in the province since 1939.
