Stefano Sannino

Secretary General of the European Union External Action Service. Previously, he held the post of Deputy SG for Economic and Global Issues at the EEAS. Prior to that, he was Italy’s Ambassador to Spain and Andorra, and Permanent Representative to the EU in Brussels. Throughout his career, he held senior management positions in the EU Institutions and the Italian MFA.
