Matteo Maria Zuppi

Cardinal Matteo Maria Zuppi was born in Rome on 11 October 1955. On 27 October 2015 he was appointed archbishop of Bologna. Created cardinal in the consistory of 5 October 2019. Appointed President of the CEI on 24 May 2022.
